What is Alpha Sigma Phi?
The Beta Rho chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi, the university's third oldest fraternity at Toledo, was founded in 1937. Throughout its 62 years of being at the university, the fraternity has activated over 1118 brothers. From its departure in 1999, the active Beta Rho Chapter has sat vacant until a group of men in Spring 2005 decided that it was time to bring the Ol' Gal back to the top of the Greek world. Dedication, determination, hard work, and love are just a few words to describe what the brother's of Alpha Sigma Phi have for those Greek letters. We strive to be the best leaders, scholars, and most importantly, the best gentlemen that UT has to offer.

If you think you have what we have, step up to the plate! We will show you a great time!
Message from the President:
Hello! Might I start off first by thanking you for your interest in Alpha Sigma Phi! Alpha Sigma Phi is a fraternity that prides itself on academics, campus involvement, brotherhood, greek community involvement and most of all UT spirit. The brothers of the Beta Rho chapter are proud of who we are and what we do. There are numerous reasons to join Alpha Sigma Phi, but possibly the most life-changing is developing a brotherhood which will follow you for the rest of your life. At Alpha Sigma Phi, we are determined to bring together the best group of men UT has to offer. Our goal is simple: we plan to shape good men into great leaders. So I would like to invite you to come along and see what Alpha Sigm Phi and the Ol' Gal has to offer you!
We have officially re-chartered!
After months of hard work and determination, the men of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity can now call themselves official brothers. The re-chartering ceremony took place on Saturday, April 8th, and 44 men were initiated as members of the newly formed Beta Rho chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi! In under a year, they've gone from "interest group" status, to "colony" status, all the way to finally becoming a chapter. This usually takes a fraternity years to complete! And instead, it took only months. Now that the work of re-chartering is out of the way, the brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi will continue their successes at the University of Toledo. Their presence will not go unnoticed!
We made our national headquarters' website again with an article about our re-chartering. Here's the article in its entirety, written by Will Lasher.
Thank you to those of you who helped them succeed in rebuilding the Beta Rho chapter!
